The Flin Flon Bombers have found themselves at the bottom of the Sherwood Division after a week-long break.
The Bombers last played Oct. 30 in Humboldt as they earned a 3-1 win over the Broncos.
The puck will drop Friday for the Bombers and Broncos as Flin Flon will host the first of two games this weekend against Humboldt.
As of yesterday morning, the Bombers ranked fourth in their conference with 14 points in 14 games – earning a 7-7-0-0 record.
The La Ronge Ice Wolves continued to occupy the top spot with 18 points in 15 games – coming from a 9-6-0-0 record.
The Melville Millionaires have fought to stay atop the SJHL and Viterra Division rankings with a record of 11-3-1-2, good for 25 points.
The Kindersley Klippers are close behind with 24 points, good for top spot in the Kramer Division.
Sitting with 14 points, the Maroon and White were ranked ninth as of yesterday morning.
This weekend’s action will give the Bombers a run for their money as the Mustangs also play two games this weekend.

The Mustangs sat one point ahead of the Bombers in the Sherwood standings with 15 points in 14 games and a record of 7-6-0-1.
Humboldt sat with 17 points in the Kramer Division and in second place with a record of 8-7-0-1.
This weekend’s games at the Whitney Forum should be competitive as the two teams sit close in the standings.
After this set of contests, the Bombers and Broncos will only face each other once more in the regular season – Dec. 17 in Humboldt.
