Submitted by Flin Flon Skate Park Committee The Flin Flin Skate Park Committee is holding a public meeting tonight at City Hall to get input for the final design of the future skate park. The committee hopes to see those in attendance who will use the park or even just those with ideas. A tentative design was set in the summer, but with the final plans being made in early January, the committee wants input from the public. Tonight's meeting, held in the Council Chambers, will look at different possibilities while taking ideas and suggestions from the public. Design concepts and papers were dropped off to the local schools. The committee is encouraging students to bring those papers along with their ideas to the meeting tonight. In an effort to get the fundraising started for the estimated $300,000 skate park, the committee held a tag day earlier this month and are holding a bottle drive after the new year. Tonight's meeting gets underway at 7 p.m.
