Voyageur Canoe Race results The Voyageur Canoe Races at Bakers Narrows Day were once again a big success for the Lions Club, raising just under $5,000 for the Handi-van. Finishing first place in the adult category were the Denare Beach Paddlers, while second place went to the Creighton School Staff. First place in the student category went to the FCI Residence-Pukatawagan. Prize for the best cheer went to Curves, while best dressed was the Evolving Butterflies, and most determined were the Red Hot Ladies. Mascot prizes went to Buckles from the Aqua Centre, the Wal-Mart happy face, and the Creighton School mascot, Ko Ko.
