Submitted by Norm LeClerc The Mechanical and Construction Rec Club annual bonspiel was held Jan. 13 and 14 at the Willow Park Curling Rink. Six teams took part in a round-robin of six ends, with two draws Friday and three Saturday. Friday saw one close game, John Vielgut vs. Ken Tetreault, with Vielgut using his last rock to win 5-4. The last draw Saturday saw the winless team of Ryan Hanson give Vielgut's rink a come-from-behind tie in the sixth end with Vielgut missing a takeout biter at 7 o'clock to go into an extra end. Again Vielgut used the hammer to win the game and the spiel.
