Kelly Carrington Staff Writer A few Christmas carols help set the tone one Friday evening as the Flin Flon-Creighton Brownies sang while the Christmas Tree was lit in Creighton. With roughly 75 people out in attendance, Creighton Recreation Director Channa Senyk says it was the biggest turnout the the Town has had. Chilly as it was that December 3 night, it didn't stop families from watching the tall structure of lights being lit. Following the tree ceremony, children and their parents were invited to the Creighton Community Hall for a Christmas party. Over 100 people were out to see Santa Claus and have their picture taken with him. Children and their parents also spent some time colouring and playing a few games. With Christmas just around the corner, the tree in Creighton helps set the scene for another northern white Christmas.
