Kelly Carrington Staff Writer In memory of a former member of the Flin Flon Creighton Slo Pitch League, the Jason Morran Memorial Tournament will be held this weekend. Funds raised from the tournament are put back into the community. This year, the money will go towards upgrading a park. The fourth Jason Morran Tournament is open to all slo pitch teams in both Creighton, Flin Flon and surrounding areas. Though no prizes are awarded at the end of the two-day tournament, the event is meant to be a fun time for all involved. Games get underway tonight and will stretch into the night before picking up again Saturday and continuing for the day.7/22/2011
