Kang's Taekwondo Academy had a colored belt test in Flin Flon on Saturday, February 5. Among the test were members from Flin Flon and Denare Beach. Cranberry Portage has just opened a new branch with 17 members and will hopefully be testing in the upcoming test. The test was well attended and there were quite a few promotions. Kurinchi Vijayaranjan won the Attendance award, Kristen Hartl won the Best Mannered Award, Christopher Benko, Allison Klippel, Kari Storey and Joselyn Tyson won Improved Awards and Dean Grove won the Most Improved Award. There will be a number of people attending the Black Belt test in Winnipeg in the near future and we wish them the best of luck as they strive to do their best and do well at the test.
