Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Yorkton Terriers met their match this past weekend as the La Ronge Ice Wolves took the first win in the series. The Terriers not only lost the first game of the finals, but lost their first game of the playoffs. After sweeping the Estevan Bruins and the Kindersley Klippers, the Terriers were on a hot streak. The Terriers went down 5-2 against the Ice Wolves. Saturday night, the Orange and Black redeemed themselves as they earned a 3-0 win over the Ice Wolves, in La Ronge. Game three of the Credit Union Cup was to get underway yesterday. As of press time, the puck had not been dropped. See Friday's Reminder for further coverage of the series. In the MJHL, the Portage Terriers and the Selkirk Steelers were tied at 1-1 after two games in the Turnbull Cup. Game three was also set for last night.
