Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The La Ronge Ice Wolves and the Yorkton Terriers will battle it out for top spot in the SJHL. After sweeping not only the Estevan Bruins, but the Kindersley Klippers as well, the Terriers quickly moved into first place of the Sherwood Conference. Their competitor, the Ice Wolves, made their way past the Flin Flon Bombers and then the Melfort Mustangs for first place in the Bauer Conference. Tonight, the Ice Wolves and Terriers will place game one in the Credit Union Cup, in La Ronge. Game two goes tomorrow, in the same barn, with the third game on Tuesday, in Yorkton. The teams will face-off in Yorkton for game four on Wednesday. With the way the Terriers played in their first two series, the Credit Union Cup could be over on Wednesday. If needed, the teams will play games five, six and seven, next Friday, Sunday and Tuesday Ð alternating locations, starting with La Ronge for the Friday game. Following the Credit Union Cup, the winner will compete in the ANAVET Cup Ð against the winner of the MJHL.
