Kelly Carrington Staff Writer It's a battle of the Terriers as the Yorkton Terriers are taking on the La Ronge Ice Wolves for the SJHL title with the Portage Terriers up against the Selkirk Steelers in the MJHL. Both series got underway on Friday and will continue in a best-of-seven format until necessary. In the series leading up to the finals, the Selkirk Steelers took on the Winkler Flyers and defeated them in six games. Portage found their win over the Dauphin Kings in six games, as well. Games are scheduled to end no later than April 13, if all goes as planned. From there, the winner of the MJHL Turnbull Trophy will play the winner of the Credit Union Cup, for the SJHL. In the SJHL, the Terriers had yet to lose a playoff game, as of press time Thursday.
