The Yorkton Terriers clinched second place in the Sherwood Conference with a 3-1 win over the Notre Dame Hounds on the last night of the regular season. All of the scoring was done in the second period. Notre Dame's Chris Hahn scored a short handed goal to start the scoring at 7:59. It was his 27th marker of the season. Jason Wagar replied with a short handed goal for the Terriers to tie the game, and then Scott Carpenter put them ahead at 13:26. Chris Korchinski's 32nd goal of the season at 19:20 was all the insurance the Terriers would need. Yorkton out shot Notre Dame 36-25. The SJHL playoffs get under way on Friday.
