NHL labour talks resumed today without Bob Goodenow and Gary Bettman. NHLPA president Trevor Linden instigated the 11th hour talks, inviting a small group to an undisclosed location in an attempt to get the bargaining process going again. There will be no proposals made from either side. The sides haven't met since Dec. 14, when the NHL first rejected the union's December 9 proposal and the NHLPA returned the favour, quickly rejecting the league's counter offer.
