On June 1, Northern Spirit Taekwondo Academy members participated in the Iron Fist Taekwondo Challenge in Winnipeg. There were approximately 260 participants and the Northern Spirit members received the following medals: Ethan Grandison Patterns - Silver, Breaking - Bronze Ainsley McCracken Patterns - Bronze, Sparring - Bronze Noel Scott Patterns - Gold, Breaking - Gold, Sparring - Gold Hendre Gouws Patterns - Gold, Sparring - Gold Luan Gouws Patterns - Gold, Breaking - Silver, Sparring - Gold Although the dojang will be closed next month, members will continue to train for upcoming tests and tournaments.
