Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Flin Flon Bombers weren't the only ones in the SJHL who had a hard time against the Sweden 17 and Under International Hockey team. After Flin Flon, the Swedish team made their way to La Ronge, where they came from behind to win 5-3. The Ice Wolves came out strong, but were unable to keep the lead as the Swedish team pulled up their socks for the win. Momentum at their backs, the Swedes made their way to Humboldt. The Broncos couldn't find the W key against the Swedes, either, as the visitors won 4-1 over the SJHL team. According to the SJHL website, the Broncos fought hard against the Swedes. The international team earned their first marker just a minute into the game and quickly made it 2-0. Team Sweden finished their SJHL tour Monday night as they took on the Battlefords North Stars, after The Reminder went to press. Originally hoping to play in the 17 and Under tournament in Winnipeg, the Sweden team didn't quite make the cut. Instead of cashing in their plane tickets, the team made arrangements to compete against a few Canadian teams.
