As a result of an incident in the game on April 10, 2005 between the Selkirk Steelers and Portage Terriers, the Manitoba Junior Hockey League has announced the following suspensions: Selkirk Steelers Players Cole Zahn, Cody Johnson, Chris Stelmack and Brendan Young are suspended for the balance of the MJHL Finals for participating in a Line Brawl. Portage Terriers Players Joey Foxon, Joey Patsack, Kip Workman and Stan Yanchishyn are suspended for the balance of the MJHL Finals for participating in a Line Brawl. The MJHL will also be doing a further review of the conduct of Portage player Stan Yanchishyn during the altercation with the possibility of further discipline. The MJHL has announced that three former players will be playing in the American Hockey League. Colby Genoway has signed an amateur tryout agreement to finish the season with the Hartford Wolf Pack. Nick Fuher will be joining the Utah Grizzlies. Jordan Little, who was Edmonton's selection during "Making the Cut", made his AHL debut on Tuesday night. All three players are former members of the Winkler Flyers.
