Summer is here and it couldn't have come sooner. Kids between the ages of five and nine kick-started their time off with Summer in the Parks - a day camp program. Counsellors and campers spend sunny afternoons at Willowvale Park, playing on the playground and cooling off in the wading pool. Counsellor Joey Rideout says the kids play "and we take them on field trips." For rainy days, activities are moved inside and swimming is taken to the Aqua Centre. The camp runs until the end of August and parents are able to sign up their children for a week or the summer.
