Kelly Carrington Staff Writer Spring and summer are great times be outside and getting active. Starting Monday, the Flin Flon Creighton in motion committee will be catching people who are being physically active. The committee will be looking for people walking, golfing, biking, gardening, swimming, jogging, running, hiking or doing any other activity that keeps them active. The Get Caught In Motion campaign beings Monday and carries through to September 4. That's plenty of time to find a routine and stick to it Ð plus throw in a few other activities whenever possible. Walk to work So instead of driving to work, why not walk with a co-worker or even bike? It's great for you and the environment. The committee will keep their eyes open all summer, but they won't see everyone. So they are asking for your help. This year, residents are able to nominate each other. Though a resident may not nominate themselves, they are able to nominate family members, neighbours, friends and those they know and see being physically active. Be sure to get out and get caught, as there are three great prizes to be won. Available to residents of Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach, each prize has an approximate value of $100.
