Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The annual in motion's Get Caught program is proving to be effective as names are being entered on a regular basis of those being active in the community. New this year, the program started in June and will continue until Sept. 4. Giving a few extra weeks of the program should give residents some extra chances to have their names entered in the contest. Up for grabs are three unnamed prizes for residents who participate in the program. Looking for ways to get entered? The campaign is geared towards residents of Creighton, Flin Flon and Denare Beach through the local in motion committee. Residents can be nominated by other residents, peers or family members or they can be "caught" by committee members. There are plenty of ways to be caught being active. Committee members are looking at the golf course, the ball diamonds, the gyms, soccer pitches and even the streets for people walking. But it's not limited to those activities. Active Keep your mind active as well by coming up with new ideas. Fishing and gardening can be a great way to stay healthy. And don't forget about the dog. He needs to be walked too. The in motion committee also encourages residents to try things like rollerblading, biking and hiking. For those who have caught other residents being active, names can be phoned in to Fran Labarre at 687-1355 or Channa Senyk at 688-3538. This year, residents are not able to nominate themselves for the draw. Get those names in and get out and be active!
