The local in motion committee will be at Willow Park this afternoon to help promote safe play in the sun and physical activity. With games and activities for kids, the Summer Dayz is sure to be a good time. Everyone is encouraged to come out and celebrate being active and enjoy the summer day. With the forecast calling for sunshine, bring your bathing suit and energy for the afternoon of fun! Here are a few ways to keep you safe in the summer: Apply insect repellant Spend time in the shade between 11 and 3 Make sure you never burn Aim to cover up with a t-shirt, hat and sunglasses Remember to take extra care with children Then use factor 15+ sunscreen Remember to drink lots of fluids in the hot weather Don't do too much physical exercise in the direct heat such as mowing a lawn
