Friday at 3 p.m. is the deadline to register for the Subway Triathlon/ Duathlon, to be held on Sunday, July 25. The event will take place at the Flin Flon Aqua Centre, starting with athlete registration at 7:30 a.m., followed by the pre-event briefing at 8 a.m. The race will start at 8:30 a.m. All events and timings will start and finish at the Aqua Centre. Here are the different events: Full triathlon - 1500 m swim, 40 km cycle and 10 km run Half triathlon - 750 m swim, 20 km cycle and 5 km run Duathlon - 5 km run, 20 km cycle and 5 km run Categories include: male individual, female individual, mixed team, male team, female team, youth individual and youth team. Participants must be 13 years of age, and a helmet must be worn during the cycling portion. For more information call 681-7540.
