The Flin Flon Squirt Girls softball team is still looking for a few players to fill out their roster. The Squirt Girls will be the host team for this year's Norman Regional Summer Games, and will have a chance at representing the region during the MTS summer games in Dauphin this August. Girls born in 1992 or later are eligible to play on the team. Previous softball experience would be good but is not necessary, as long as the athlete is willing to learn and wants to have fun. A minimum of 11 girls are needed to form a team, with a maximum of 15. The regional finals will be held in Flin Flon at the Centoba Ball Diamonds from June 4-6. Other tournament possibilities are Winnipeg or Norwood May 28-30, Brandon June 19 and 20, Provincials in Alton on July 2-4 and the MTS Games in Dauphin August 11-14.
