Just shy of 55 kids lined up at the doors Sunday afternoon waiting to pick just the right egg at the annual in motion Easter Egg Hunt. Once the doors were opened, children flooded through to pick the egg of their choice Ð which was later matched with a prize and a chocolate egg. After receiving their prize, the children went back to the curling rink side of the Creighton Sportex to play a few games as well as break out their new toys. With skipping ropes, bouncy balls and footballs being used, the children also took part in a bowling game, golf game, bean toss and played with the parachute. The hour-long party gave a chance for the children to run around for the last spring break activity. Throughout the week, children were able to participate in a number of activities hosted between Flin Flon Parks and Recreation, Town of Creighton, Flin Flon Friendship Centre and Creighton Community School. On Monday, children made greeting cards as well as had the option to participate in a gym day at Creighton Community School. And if that wasn't enough, the Flin Flon Aqua Centre was open for swimming. Tuesday brought more swimming while Wednesday offered ball hockey at the Creighton Sportex as well as swimming. Thursday took more concentration from the participants as Sophie Ostrowski taught children to make Ukrainian Easter Eggs. Friday, the last weekday for Spring Break, gave families a chance to hit the hill at the Flin Flon/Creighton Ski Chalet for a sliding party.
