With just a few days before the deadline, the Xtreme hockey school has a few more spots available for those interested. Director Mike Reagan says they are pleased with the numbers they have, but "we would like to fill all age groups available." The school offers a junior group, which has a spot or two left, an intermediate group, which also only has a space left, and a seniors section, which has about 15 spots left. The specialty clinics are still open and have room left for about 10 in each clinic. The three clinics being offered are body checking, shooting and stick-handling and power skating. Registration for juniors, intermediates and seniors will be on Sunday, August 19, between 7 and 8 p.m. Registration for the conditioning camps is Monday, August 20 at 7:30 p.m. All the registrations will be held in the Whitney Forum lobby. The regular hockey school starts up August 20 and runs until August 25. The specialty clinics start on August 26 and run to August 28. For more information, contact Mike Reagan at 687-4404.
