Pictured (left to right) are Stacy Madland representing the Special Olympics athletes, George Rideout president of Co-op Board presenting a cheque of $300 to Heather Toduschuk, coach of the Flin Flon Flyers swim team. The money was donated from the coffee fund on the grocery floor to help sponsor the Special Olympics from the Norman Region. Heather Todoschuk is the regional leader for the Special Olympics. A swim team consisting of Jennifer Milton, Kim Spiller and Christy Bailey along with a bowling team consisting of Stacy Madland, Carol Odegaard, Rhonda Lowe, Robert Lafonte and Leslie Hughes, along with coaches Brenda and Tony Able, will be leaving Flin Flon on Friday, June 3 for Brandon for the Provincial Summer Games. The winners from Brandon will go on to compete in the National Summer Games to take place in 2006. Congratulations to the athletes and good luck!
