Flin Flon Parks and Recreation hosted the Third Annual Indoor Soccer Kickoff at the Whitney Forum May 6, 7 and 8, and what a blast! A total of 114 athletes committed to a weekend of fun, challenges, new friendships and a whole lot of soccer! The seats were filled with coaches, volunteers, parents and grandparents waiting to cheer on the young athletes as they chased the soccer ball with their teammates. The tournament started Friday at 10 a.m., with the final game Sunday at 1 p.m. and 10 teams were ready to go head to head for the gold! Over 26 hours of soccer was played. On Saturday, the Phantom Lake Soccer Club did a great job hosting a drills and skills competition.
