After being delayed due to rainfall, work on the new Flin Flon soccer field is back on track. Director of Works and Operations Rick Bacon says the city hopes to be done their portion of the work soon. "We are hoping, as long as all goes well, that we can hand the field over to the soccer club at the end of the month," he says. Sub drains are being put in the field now to help control the ground water, says Bacon. And he says staff are still working hard, but they have been having some delays because of the weather, but he adds, "things are going better now."
