Next year the Border Explorers Snowmobile Club could be praying for better weather. "The club was in a mode for making signage and grooming," explained Wayne Elliott, chief executive officer of the Border Explorers. Next year the club is purchasing two sleds and groomers used to pre-groom to win their battle with Mother Nature. "This should produce a better trail," John Trumbley, president of the Border Explorers said. The cost for the new groomers is between $15,000-17,000. The club's goal is to increase visitation of other snowmobilers to the area-which was successful as riders from other areas ventured through Flin Flon.
