Dwayne's Glass Smashers and the Candy Bar Kickers took first place in the Spring Indoor Soccer Tournament this past weekend. The two-division tournament saw the Smashers take on RK's in the 2002-2004 finals Saturday afternoon. In the 1999-2001 division, the Kickers defeated the Dollar Store Dazzlers 3-0 for top prize. The Whitney Forum hosted the tournament as it kicked off last Wednesday night. Games took place Wednesday as well as Thursday and Friday after school with a full day of games on Saturday. The Whitford Pavers took third place in the youngest division as they defeated the Co-op Difference 6-2. In the older division, the Tree Line Timber Wolves defeated Flin Flon Parks & Rec 3-2 for bronze. This year marked the 11th year for the tournament and saw six teams in each division competing.
