Compiled by Kelly Carrington Canada's National Sledge Hockey Team made their way to Winnipeg this past weekend for a training camp. The team held the training camp for preparation for the Four Nations Cup, this coming March in Nagano, Japan. Along with the Canadian team, teams from the United States, Norway and Japan will compete in the Four Nations Cup from March 10-14. As well, Team Canada will be in the upcoming World Sledge Hockey Challenge, in London, Ont., this Spring. Fifteen of the 16 players, who swept a series in the United Stares and Japan in November of last year, were on the roster for the camp. Player Ray Grassi, of Windsor, Ont., was unable to attend the camp due to an injury. As well, the camp missed Benoit At. Amand, of St-Hubert, Que. Both players were replaced by James Gemmell, Quesnel, B.C., and Kris Duktiewicz, Kitchener, Ont., who were members of the National Sledge Development team. The Development team won all three of their matches, in a three game series, against the United States just last week in Essecx, Ont. The Canadian team was on the ice eight times over the course of the weekend.
