Kelly Carrington Staff Writer It was a big weekend for one local skier, among others, as she raced her way to the top. Mackenzie Grove, who competed in the Midget Girls ski races this past weekend, earned two Gold medals. Grove competed against seven other skiers in her division and earned top place for Midget Girls. Grove was the lone Flin Flonner in her division this past weekend as the Flin Flon Ski Club hosted the Provincial Championship Race for Saskatchewan. Roughly 50 skiers were on hand for the races, ranging in age from five to seniors. Alongside Grove, Flin Flon saw 10 other skiers competing in the events.
