Kelly Carrington Staff Writer While many children are learning their lines for traditional Christmas carols, members of the Flin Flon Skate Club were preparing for their first ever Christmas performance. The half-hour long performance, held last Friday, Dec. 17, showcased the skills of the skaters. Family and friends gathered at the Whitney Forum to watch the skaters. A few solo performances and a few group routines kept the Christmas theme flowing. A comical duet by Melissa Rockie and Hasana Church told the story of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. As well as the Senior Star Skaters, the beginning skaters took to the ice as well.
