Through the dark of the night the skaters from the Flin Flon Skating Club made their appearance by spotlight for Magic Tour at the Whitney Forum. With a number of performances presented, skating club president Carrie Leclaire-Nivon says the show was excellent. ÒIt was a huge success. The skaters loved it and (they) had a lot of fun,Ó says the three-time running president. As the shows wrapped up, both Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, Leclaire-Nivon says she heard great comments. ÒI heard nothing but good stuff from the parents and audience in general,Ó she says. ÒAnd I heard a lot of Ôcongrats on an excellent show.ÕÓ Not only was the show a success, but she says the whole season went great. ÒThe club ran smoothly. We had a lot more parents involved,Ó says Leclaire-Nivon, Òand we were able to do more.Ó At the end of SundayÕs show the year-end awards were given out to select skaters.
