The Estevan Bruins have acquired the playing rights to 19-year-old forward Chris Wilson from the Sherwood Park Crusaders for future considerations. Wilson is a former Saskatchewan 'AAA' Midget Hockey League scoring champion from 2002-03 with the Prince Albert Mintos. The Melfort Mustangs have traded 19-year-old forward Darren Murton to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons for future considerations. A native of Saskatoon, the 5'10", 196 Ibs winger scored nine goals and 11 assists in 48 games last season. He had appeared in four games this season and did not record a point. The Mustangs also acquired 18-year-old defenseman Brennon Ewen from the Surrey Eagles in exchange for future considerations. The Drake native had three goals and 26 assists in 40 games with the Tisdale Trojans of the Saskatchewan 'AAA' Midget Hockey League last season.
