The Notre Dame Hounds have traded 19-year-old goaltender Dustin MacDonald to the Battlefords North Stars for future considerations. The 5'9", 175 Ibs native of Rankin Inlet NWT has played 33 minutes this season and has stopped fourteen of fifteen shots faced. He was 0-4 with a 4.33 GAA and .861 SPCT in eight games with the Hounds last season. The addition of MacDonald gives the North Stars three netminders with Andrew Arklie and Andrew Szmata still on the roster. The Hounds are down to 20-year-old Chance Gieni and rookie Andrew Goulet. The Humboldt Broncos have added some size to their forward ranks with the addition of 19-year-old Trevor Selin from the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. Selin had played 12 games and registered two assists as well as nine penalty minutes this season. As a rookie, the 6'5", 211 Ibs native of Cochrane AB played 60-games and had three goals, four assists, and 79 penalty minutes. The Broncos give the Bulldogs future considerations to complete the transaction.
