Over 100 hockey players looking to show their skill and potential for the 2014-15 season will hit the ice in September for the SJHL Showcase.
Held in Warman, SK, the showcase will include the top 120 players from each of the 12 teams as well as each age group.
Six teams will compete in the games, to be held Sept. 29-30.
Players will be divided into three age groups, two teams per group: ages 19 and 20; 17 and 18; and 16 and 17. Each age group will play twice, with one game on Monday and another on Tuesday.
“This format is to allow scouts to to see the top 120 players in the SJHL in these age groups as determined by coaches,” read the SJHL’s website.
Before the league’s showcase gets underway, the SJHL will introduce the top 80 players from the Saskatchewan Midget AAA League in a game to be played Sept. 28.
