The 2012-13 SJHL season may have only ended a few months ago, but the league is ready to go for the Fall. The league released its schedule for the 2013-14 season last week. Home Openers, for the regular season, will start on September 19 with the end of the season wrapping up February 28 before playoffs start. The Flin Flon Bombers, like years past, will start their season in Melfort on September 20 before hosting the Mustangs the next night for their Home Opener. In seasons past, the Bombers and Mustangs have held a competitive rivalry. Last year, the Maroon and White were off to a strong start with an impressive winning streak. With Main Camp coming to the Whitney Forum next month, the Bombers will continue to form their team for the season. Head coach and GM Mike Reagan will return to the bench, however an assistant coach had yet to be named as of press time. The Bombers look to replace Michael George after the assistant coach of three years accepted an associate coach and assistant GM position in Drayton Valley with the AJHL's Thunder.
