The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has released the official 2004-05 regular season schedule on the League website at www.sjhl.sk.ca. SJHL teams will all play a reduced schedule of 55 regular season games in 2004-05; 26 at home, 26 on the road, and 3 in Saskatoon at the SJHL/CIS September Showcase. The opening face off will take place at six SJHL rinks on Friday, September 17th with all 12 teams in action. The Flin Flon Bombers will host the new-look La Ronge Ice Wolves, under new head coach Bob Beatty, on Friday, September 17, and on Saturday, September 18, the teams will be in La Ronge for the Ice Wolves' home opener. The 2003/04 MemberCARE and Anavet Cup Champion Kindersley Klippers open the season at home against their arch rival, Battlefords' North Stars. Other games on opening night include the Notre Dame Hounds in Humboldt to take on the Broncos, the Weyburn Red Wings in Yorkton to face the Terriers, the Nipawin Hawks at Melfort Mustangs, and Melville Millionaires at Estevan Bruins. The regular season concludes on Tuesday, February 22, 2005.
