• The Weyburn Red Wings have advanced to the quarter-finals. Depending on the outcome of last night’s Estevan-Battlefords game (played after The Reminder went to press), the Wings will face either the Melfort Mustangs or the Kindersley Klippers. Weyburn will go into the quarter-final as the underdog, having finished the regular season far behind both Melfort and Kindersley.

• Estevan and Battlefords faced off for the fifth and final game of their wild card series last night, after The Reminder went to press.
