Player of the Week Adam Moar, Yorkton Terriers 1989 F Adam Moar (Canwood SK) made his presence known against his former team as the SJHL Credit Union Cup finals began. Moar had two goals in a game one victory for Yorkton. He also scored in game two and finished the week with four points in three games played. Moar was traded to Yorkton from La Ronge on December 1st for Joel Danyluk. Runners-up: Cody Zubko, Yorkton; Liam Brennan, La Ronge; Troy Smukowich, Yorkton. Defenseman of the Week Robert Monfore, La Ronge Ice Wolves 1990 D Robert Monfore (Wasilla AK) had points in each of the first two games of the Credit Union Cup final as he picked up some of the offensive slack left when Mike Alexander went down to injury. Monfore drew an assist in game one and then scored his team's first goal in a game two victory. Runners-up: Blaine Tendler, Yorkton; Dustin Stevenson, La Ronge; Kurt Leedahl, Kindersley. Goaltender of the Week Joel Danyluk, La Ronge Ice Wolves 1990 G Joel Danyluk (Yorkton SK) made a surprise start in game two of the Credit Union Cup final and turned away 36-of-37 shots in recording a victory against his former team. Coincidentally, Danyluk and Adam Moar both end up winning weekly awards on the same week. The two were traded for each other on December 1st. Runner-up: Devin Peters, Yorkton.
