Player of the Week Jordan Menke, Yorkton Terriers 1989 F Jordan Menke (Shamrock SK) scored four goals and one assist in three games to earn this week's award. Menke had points in all three contests, including two points in a win over Estevan last Wednesday and he also scored both of his team's goals in a loss to Notre Dame on Friday. He scored again on Saturday in Weyburn. Menke ended up leading the Terriers in scoring with 20 goals and 24 assists in 58 games. Runners-up: Todd Chinova, Melfort; Travis Janke, Notre Dame; Blake Hietala, Melfort; Jesse Mireau, Melfort; David Skagen, Nipawin. Defenseman of the Week Steven Turner, Kindersley Klippers 1989 D Steven Turner (Eston SK) put up points in all three of his team's games last week and is being relied on heavily by the Klippers for crucial minutes going into the playoffs. Turner has also had a chance to play in his hometown down the stretch as the Klippers have gone an impressive 8-0-and-1 in Eston since the January 9 fire in Kindersley. Turner's season totals were seven goals and 27 assists in 57 games. Goaltender of the Week Andrew Bodnarchuk, Humboldt Broncos 1989 G Andrew Bodnarchuk (Saskatoon SK) won both of his starts last week and kicked out 42-of-45 shots in the process to end the week 2-0, 1.50, .933. Bodnarchuk finished fourth in GAA at 2.82 and has a SPCT of .916 to go with an 18-14-and-6 won-loss record.
