The Battlefords North Stars have the La Ronge Ice Wolves on the ropes after a 5-4 win. Kyle Gladue tied the game for La Ronge with just 25 seconds left on the clock, but Darren Delainey scored at 1:34 of the extra frame. Doug Exner had a pair of first period goals for the Ice Wolves, while Jeff Marshall also scored for La Ronge. Jared Mohr, Brett Jullion, Shane Cusack and Michael George scored in regulation for the Stars. Michael Pilote replaced Alex Gagnon in the La Ronge net after a goal at 4:46 of the second period made it 4-2 for the Stars. Pilote allowed only the one goal in overtime. Guillaume Miszczak made 20 saves in the win. Josh Garbutt was the hero in Yorkton, giving the Terriers a 6-5 win in double overtime on home ice to tie their series with the Estevan Bruins 2-2. Garbutt scored at 9:19 of double OT. Lance Herauf had three goals for the Terriers. Perry Faul and Sheldon Dubnyk added the singles. Patrick McGillicky, Steve Johnston, Lorne Tytlandsvik, Donovan Hall and Kyle Pellerin scored for the Bruins.
