Winner: Reid MacLeod, Flin Flon Bombers Highlights: MacLeod was a house on fire through October, assuming the SJHL scoring lead by virtue of his 14-goals and 14-assists in 11-games played. The 1988 born native of Teulon MB had a goal and six assists in his final game of the month, October 27th in Estevan. He also had a four point game and three three-point games in a row. For the season, he has 22-goals and 18-assists in 18-games. Runners-Up: Taylor Watt & Clint Olson, Melfort; Dennis Kubat & Pierre-Luc Boucher, Flin Flon. SJHL Defenseman of the Month Winner: Brady Gordon, Melfort Mustangs Highlights: Gordon, on a team with several prolific offensive defensemen, rose above everyone to score 3-goals and 11-assists in 12-games played during the month of October. The 1987 born native of Melfort SK had four assists in a game played October 26th against Kindersley. He ended the month with points in four consecutive games and points in six of his last eight overall. For the season, Gordon has 18-points in 19-games and is tied for the SJHL lead amongst defensemen in scoring.
