The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has officially released the names of the players chosen to participate in the All-Star Game and Prospects Game which will be held December 19th in Battlefords. The Sherwood Conference is highlighted by unanimous choices forward Bear Trapp of the Melville Millionaires and goalie Chance Gieni of the Notre Dame Hounds. The Itech Conference is led by unanimous choices forward Troy Schwab of the Kindersley Klippers, defenseman Gio Flamminio of the Kindersley Klippers and goalie Alex Gagnon of the La Ronge Ice Wolves. Unanimous choices on the Prospects team include Itech's Kevin Buyan, a forward from the Klippers, and La Ronge forward Kris Desjarlais, who will also be on the Itech Prospects. The starters for the Sherwood are: goalie Chance Gieni of Notre Dame, defensemen Chris Stubel from Estevan and Yorkton's Perry Faul, as well centreman Chris Hahn, and wingers Dominic Cote from Estevan and Melville's Trapp. Itech starters are goalie Gagnon from the Ice Wolves, defensemen Flamminio of the Klippers and Patrick Carriere of Nipawin. The forwards are centermen Schwab from Kindersley, and wingers Dillon Henningson of LaRonge and Jeff Marshall of LaRonge.
