In the SJHL on Monday night, the Melville Millionaires stayed alive in the hunt for the MemberCARE cup, defeating the Yorkton Terriers 3-2 in overtime to force a game six. Melville was down 3-1 in the series, but Matt Stefanishion was the overtime hero for the 1,715 fans in attendance, scoring at 3:15 of the extra frame. The teams exchanged goals in the first period, and again in the third period. Justin Keller scored twice for Yorkton, while Derek Parker and Dan Wilson replied for the Millionaires in regulation. Melville out shot Yorkton 36-31, including 14-6 in the third period. The Millionaires scored one power-play goal on six chances, while the Terriers scored once on eight tries.
