Keith Hamilton, Chris Wilson and Trevor Hyatt scored the goals, while Juliano Pagliero made 30 saves to earn the shut out. The Humboldt Broncos did the Bombers a favour by beating the Melfort Mustangs 5-3. An empty net goal by newcomer Bryan Lewis sealed the win for the Broncos, after Jeff Hajner brought the Mustangs within one goal with just under two minutes remaining in regulation time. The Battlefords North Stars took sole possession of second place in the ITECH Conference with a 4-3 overtime win over the Kindersley Klippers. Riley Lang had a goal and two assists for the North Stars, and Jared Keller scored at 4:14 of overtime after the Stars killed off a penalty in the early part of the extra frame. The Stars out shot the Klippers 42-23.
