This week's MEE SPORTS - SJHL Player of the Week is awarded to 21 year-old Joel Pullman of the Estevan Bruins. Joel who turned 21 on Friday, January 16 is a 6'3, is a 200 lb defenceman from Springside, Saskatchewan. During the past week Joel had two goals and four assists for six points and six penalty minutes. He had one power-play goal and one game-winning goal. His game winning goal was scored in overtime against the Battleford North Stars with 2.5 second left in overtime. This helped the Estevan Bruins win three of their four games this past week which puts them in 4th place in the Sherwood Conference with 40 points. Joel Pullman received two nominations for Player of the Week. For the season Joel has accumulated six goals and 18 assists for 24 points and 42 penalty minutes. He has one power-play goal and two game-winning goals. Honorable Mention Honorable mention goes to Jeff Nuttall of the Humboldt Broncos. Jeff had one goal and six assists this past week for seven points. This helped the Humboldt Broncos win all three of their games this past week.
