Local bowler Joshua Ramshaw took the Silver Medal for Junior Boys Singles at the Youth Bowling Council Manitoba Provincials competition in Winnipeg on March 12. He represented Flin Flon's Abele's Bowling Centre for Zone B and competed against the Zone Champion from each of the other four YBC bowling zones in Manitoba. Joshua's 5-game total pinfall was 1019, only behind Donald Little of Mosienko Lanes (Winnipeg), whose total pinfall was 1094. Joshua had the high game of the tournament for the Junior boys with a 279.
