A great turnout Wednesday, June 1, and another nice warm morning for the 46 seniors who came out for their weekly 9 holes of fun and fellowship. The fairways are in good shape but still lots of standing water in places. The greens were just sanded which added a few putts to the scores. Thrree seniors tied for the loonie pot on #6. Deuces were made by Curly Gummerson, Metro Lekopoy and Lee Fisher. Longest putt on #8 was a 10 footer by Red Nelson. Low Gross was a 40 by Ron Wiebe and low net was a net 33 by Ron Watt. In foursome play Ken Allen, Bev Baker, Ted Baumgartner and Stan Curtis with five points. Next with one point were Bryan Dixon, Waly Ariko, Lorne Butcher and Bill Eastman. Third with minus one Garnet Wheeler, Alex Lekopoy, Ron Watt and Cal Hammond. Fourth with minus two were Curly Gummerson, Glen Campbell, Brian Row and Dan Hamilton. Fourth with minus three points, Sandy Ernest, Bob McKay, Barry Smith, Ron Thorley and Scotty Graham, Ron Wiebe, Doug Ormiston, Cam Wilson, Dale Powell. Sixth with minus five points were Lee Fisher, Hugh Howat, Jim Conner, Dick Berthiaume, Grant Adams, and Al Mills, Al Bhatt, Doug Anderson, Marv Dowhan. Our next scramble is Wednesday, June 8.
