It was a bit of a wet Wednesday morning this week with a little rain and wind, but 33 seniors turned out to enjoy the day. With a little hot coffee from the concession to start us off it was no problem. Top foursome with plus three were Al Mills, Jim Stevenson, Bill Martinot and Dennis Anderson. Next three groups tied for second place with a minus three, Red Nelson, Glen Campbell, Jim Russell, Bryan Dixon and Brian Row, Metro Lekopoy, Cam Wilson, Paul Warga and Jack Streitle, Rick Switzer, Al Bhatt, Grant Adams. Last money was won byÊ Doug Ormiston, Garnet Wheeler, Bob Quinn and Doug AndersonÊ with a minus 5. The money pot on #6 was won by Bill Martinot with closest to the hole and Jim Stevenson sank a 24 foot putt on #8 for th best putt of the day. Low Gross and low net were won by Bill Martinot with a 38 and a net 30 respectively.ÊIt wasn't Bill's birthday but it should have been. Poor weather doesn't affect good golf. Our next scramble will be on Wednesday, June 1st. First group off #1 tee at 8:00 a.m.
