Forty seniors turned out for our scramble on Wednesday and have a bit of fun in the sun. Best foursome of the day were Red Nelson, Bev Baker, Bob Quinn and Paul Warga with four points. Second with three points were Bob McKay, Stan Curtis, Lee Fisher and Grant Adams. Three foursomes tied for third, Tom Gilmore, Adolphe Linnick, Doug Anderson, Bruce Reid and Ron Bailey, Rodger Poirier, Al Brown, Ron Watt and Dale Powell, Ted Baumgartner, Terry Lofgren, Alex Lekopoy. Three Foursomes tied for fourth with minus two points, Gerry Nomeland, Gerry Fladager, George Komanac, Dave Negrych and Bob Russell, Cam Wilson, Ron Wiebe, Harvey Fleming and Doug Ormiston, Al Mills, Rick Switzer, Warner Rink. Lor Gross was a tie between Lee Fisher and Ron Wiebe with a score of 40. Alex Lekopoy had the low net score with a net 34. Lee Fisher won the loonie pot on #6 and Adolphe Linnick made the longest putt on #8. Six Seniors, Ron Atkinson, Bryan Dixon, Ken Allen, Barry Smith, Norm Fox, Jim Conner and Glen Smith qualified for the MSOS golf competiton at Potage la Prairie last week. Winning medals in their respective age categoires were, Glen Smith with a gold in the 18 hole competition, Barry Smith with a Silver in the nine hole and a Gold in the 18 hole competiton and Norm Fox with a Gold in the 18 hole competition. Ron Atkinson lost out on a count back. All in all a good performance by our seniors. Our next seniors scramble will be on Wednesday, June 23. First foursome off the white tee at 8 a.m.
